How Leaders will communicate with parents
If you have a problem while doing the activity how will you communicate with a parent or all the parents?

Will you have a home contact? (Someone at home who has all the contact details, and ideally not a relative of the participants so they can be objective if the worst happened)
Will you take the details with you and contact directly? (will the bit of paper get wet? will the phone battery last?)
What if you are just stuck in traffic and want to let the parents know to pick up an hour later? (facebook group, group text, get the YP to ring individually)
- How will you hold the details of all those taking part in an event, and the contact details of their parents, so that they can be accessed as required?
- What system will you use if you need to contact a parent individually?
- What system will you use if you need to contact all parents at the same time?
- What guidelines have you given to parents about how / when they will be communicated with throughout the event?
